About Us.......
Who is Neveah?
Neveah is this laid back, sweet, cuddly kitten who was born in June of 2011. She was born outside and was one of our feral mothers' offspring. When Neveah was caught she was very sick. As we were taking care of her and showing her that people are not bad at all we came across these holes, one in her head and one in her neck. The vet told us they were actual bugs living inside of her and growing off her flesh. These bugs are called Cuterebras. She had to undergo 2 surgeries when she was just 2 months old. We named her Neveah because without those surgeries she wouldn't have survived. We are grateful that she now has a clean bill of health.. Neveah changed our outlook on cats and how badly they need us to take care of them. We decided to open a Charity in dedication to Neveah's strength and our determination.

Who We Are
We are a small group of volunteers who are determined to help care for abandoned, neglected and unwanted (high volume shelter(s) cats in West Lincoln and surrounding areas. This group of volunteers dedicates their time and energy with receiving only two rewards: great pride in rescuing cats and earning the satisfaction that we did a good thing. We now cover the area from Niagara Falls to Brampton, Ontario.
We are a no kill shelter and believe that all felines deserve another chance whether it is in a forever home or simply here with us at the facility.
NCWL is strictly a non-profit organization and receives no funds from any agency, corporation or the government. NCWL relies solely on the kindness and generosity of the public and community.
Our Mission
We wish to save the cats/kittens from the high volume shelter (which they may be euthanized after 72 hours) and help to find them forever homes. We also work with stray and abandoned cats/kittens..
What We Do
NCWL strives to rehabilitate and re-home most of the cats that come into our care.
NCWL uses a hands on approach to help cats so they may become family pets. We ensure that each individual receives the special attention required to make this possible.
Prior to going to their forever home, we make sure that all cats that come into our rescue are fully vetted. All adult felines available for adoption are vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered/spayed, dewormed and defleaed. Kittens however, will have their first set of shots and have been dewormed and defleaed at the time of adoption. NCWL will make arrangements for the neutering/spaying to occur at the appropriate time. New owners will be responsible for their kitten(s) second set of needles and rabies vaccine. The vaccines of cats/kittens up for adoption are done accordingly to age of the cat/kitten in our care.
Many cats we bring into our rescue are in need of additional medical care. Such medical care may include ear infections, blood tests, surgeries, dental work, grooming, medications etc. Cats are vetted according to their requirements.
NCWL charges an adoption fee of $275.00 for a kitten, $250 for an adult and $200 for a senior. All of the adoption fees go directly into our veterinary fund so we can help more felines in need.
